와이퍼 모터의 수명분포 추정

Density Estimation for Wiper Motors

와이퍼 모터의 고장에 영향을 미치는 요인은 성능시험 요인과 수명시험 요인이 있다. 본 연구에서는 국내 특정회사에서 생산된 자동차용 와이퍼 모터 6대를 수명시험(interval censored data)하여 얻어진 데이터를 이용하여 와이퍼모터의 수명분포를 추정하였다. 와이퍼모터의 수명분포가 기계류에 대하여 일반적으로 가정하는 와이블 분포를 따른다고 가정하고 와이블분포의 형상모수 및 척도모수를 평균수명 등을 MINITAB에서 최우추정법으로 추정하였다. 그 결과 형상모수는 8.978, 척도모수는 3,550,567, 평균수명은 3,361,892사이클로 얻어졌다. 이러한 결과는 자동차용 와이퍼모터의 보증정책을 마련하는데 이용될 수 있다.

In this paper, we estimate a density function of wiper motors for automobiles made in Korea. For life testing experiment we choose and describe the performance factors which have an effect on failure characteristics of wiper motors. Under the assumption of Weibull life distribution, we obtained the maximum likelihood estimates of shape parameter, scale parameter and MTTF(mean time to failure) with interval censored real data of sample sizes 6 by using MINITAB. The estimated MTTF of wiper motors is 3,361,892 cycles, which can be used for establishing guaranty policy for automobiles.
