Analysis of internal migration based on census data

본 연구에서는 1995년과 2000년의 Census자료를 통해 인구이동의 형태를 다양한 사회·경제적 지표와 이주자의 출발지와 도착지를 사용하여 분석해 보았다. 지역의 유형별 이동량과 이동률 및 성·연령에 따른 차이성을 살펴보았으며 생애이주자의 지역적 흐름 및 성·연령에 따른 인구이동 차이성에 있어서 지역적 변이들을 분석해 보았다. 특히 수도권지역과 대도시지역의 인구이동 흐름에 연구의 초점을 맞추었으며 도시, 농촌간의 이동인구에 대한 연령별 구조도 살펴보았다.

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the results of the survey, and utilize these findings in the formulation of population settlement plans and regional development policies. This paper deals with demographic characteristics of migrants and the volume, direction, and patterns of migration observed in the 1995 and 2000 censuses. In particular, the rural areas need more intensive study of the migration patterns as related to social, demographic and economic changes.
