On the Availability of Mobile Phone Survey

In this paper, we examine mobile phone survey methods now in use and investigate the merits and demerits of them. Those can be classified into panel survey and RDD(Random Digit Dialing) one according to the methods of composing sampling frames and text survey, ARS(Automatic Response System) survey and direct calling one according to the inquiry forms. A combined estimator is applied to some mixed surveys of telephone sampling frames and mobile phone ones. We make empirically mobile survey on the university students and some suggestions to enhance the reliability of mobile phone surveys based on that.
