Sampling Design on the Agricultural Management Survey of the Large Size Farmhouses in Korea

농업경영체 경영실태조사는 12개 주요 작목 중에서 적어도 한 작목을 일정 규모 이상 재배·사육하는 개인농가의 경영실태에 대한 통계를 산출하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 따라서 2000년 농업총조사 자료를 바탕으로 전국의 중규모 이상 농가 현황을 파악하였고, 표본의 대표성을 유지하면서 조사 업무량을 감축하기 위해 가능한 인근 지역에 위치한 농가를 표본으로 선정하기 위해 농업조사구를 1차 추출단위로 활용하였다. 본 연구에서는 농업조사구들을 그 특성에 따라 층화하고 설계효과를 이용하여 각 층에서 예비 표본 조사구를 추출하였다. 다음으로 예비 표본 조사구를 실사하여 12개 작목별 중규모 이상 농가로 1단계 표본을 구성하고, 1단계 표본 농가를 작목별, 규모별로 층화하여 최종 표본 농가를 선정하는 이중추출법을 이용하였으며 이에 따른 추정법을 제시하였다.

The purpose of the sample survey for the large size farmhouses in Korea is to produce the statistics about the actual management conditions. The distribution of the large size farmhouses was derived from the 2000 s agricultural census in Korea. In this sampling design, the agricultural enumeration districts(psu) were stratified by their characteristics and the pre-sample size of psu was determined by using the design effect. The sample of farmhouses were selected by using the double sampling. That is, the first stage sample is made up of the large size farmhouses investigated in the pre-sample survey and the second stage sample was selected in each stratum which is post-stratified by the farm products and size of farmhouse.
