통계적 방법을 활용한 정치 웹사이트를 대상으로 한 웹공간 분석

Web sphere analysis for political websites - Statistical aspects

인터넷의 대중화에 따라 어떤 국가의 정치 시스템과 선거과정에서 인터넷의 역할을 파악하기 위한 연구가 요구되는 바, 아시아·유럽·북미 20여개 국가들을 대상으로 국제협동연구가 진행 중이다.본 연구에서는 이러한 국제협동연구의 일환으로 수행된 대한민국 제17대 국회의원 총선거 기간 동안에 정당 및 국회의원 후보의 웹사이트와 여러 유형의 정치 웹사이트를 대상으로 실시한 피쳐분석을 토대로 통계적인 방법을 활용하여 추가적인 심층분석을 실시하고자 한다.

As a part of international Internet and election project, the authors conducted a web sphere analysis for South Korean political websites. Among several web sphere analyses, web feature analysis was employed to examines the existence of certain information and/or engagement features contained on Korean political websites. The websites were sampled during South Korea s parliament election held in April 2004. This paper focuses on some statistical aspects by providing intensive discussions about reliability analysis, multidimensional scaling, and cluster analysis for the informational and/or engagemental coding items as well as website producer types.
