국민건강 검진조사의 무응답 대체에 관한 연구

A study on imputation for nonresponses in National Health Medical Examination Survey

조사에서 무응답에 의한 결측치 발생은 피할 수 없는 현실이다. 조사자료의 무응답 처리에 대한 여러 방법이 있을 수 있으나 최근 다중대체에 의한 무응답의 결측 처리에 많은 관심과 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 본 연구는 우리나라 보건 분야의 주요조사인 국민건강.영양조사에서 무응답이 심각한 국민건강 검진조사의 22개 항목의 무응답을 다중대체 방법을 사용하여 완전한 자료를 만들고자 하는 시도이다. 다중대체 방법 중에서 경향점수 방법을 사용하였고 다중대체 결과 모든 항목에서 평균은 대체 전과 비슷한 값이 유지되었으나 분산은 변수에 따라 다양한 감소 상태를 보였다.

Missing data are unavoidable in surveys. Recently, many studies and applications have been conducted to compensate for them. This study is part of the effort to impute the nonresponse items in the National Health Medical Examination Survey. In this study, we introduced multiple imputation by propensity score method and implemented imputations for nonresponse items. To evaluate the quality of the imputation procedure, we compared the means and distributions of the original and imputed data for similarities. The results was that the means were preserved successfully but the variances decreased very differently among variables and we needed to develop more accurate imputation models to reduce the underestimation of variance.
