The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of controlling coaching behavior on normal depression and burnout of youth Taekwondo players. To this end Taekwondo athletes in middle and high school were selected as survey subjects, and a total of 306 copies of the questionnaire were distributed and 277 copies were excluded, excluding 29 copies of data with poor reliability due to unsuccessful responses to the questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed by frequency analysis, correlation analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and structural equation modeling using SPSS 23.0 and Amos 23.0 programs. The research results were as follows. First, it was found that controlled coaching behavior partially affected the normal depression of youth Taekwondo players. Second, it was found that controlled coaching behavior partially affected the burnout of youth Taekwondo players. Third, the normal depression of youth Taekwondo players was found to have a significant effect on burnout.
