고령친화 건강용품 수요 및 품질에 대한 예비조사연구

A Pilot Study on Demand and Quality of Necessities of Health for the Elderly

우리나라에서는 아직까지 고령친화 건강용품 개발이 활발히 이루어지지 않아 수입에 상당히 의존하고 있고 국민적 관심도 부족한 현 시점에서 국가적 차원에서 앞으로의 고령사회에 대비해 고령친화 건강용품의 표준화를 통해 제품을 개발하고자 노력하고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 노력의 일환으로 고령친화 건강용품 표준화를 위한 고령친화 건강용품 전국 수요조사에 앞서 예비조사를 실시하였다. 본 연구는 고령친화 건강용품의 수요와 품질에 대한 보건의료전문가의 의견을 파악하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 연구결과, 고령친화 건강용품의 수요는 혈당측정기, 가습기, 체온계, 돋보기, 혈압계, 체중계 순으로 많았고, 고령친화 건강용품의 품질에서는 보관용이성, 조작용이성, 신뢰성, 안전성 순으로 낮았다.

This pilot study is to survey demand and quality of necessities of health for the elderly. This is a descriptive survey that 29 health professionals are questioned using structured questionnaires based on ISO 9999. The questionnaires are developed by 7 experts conducting standardization system of senior-assistive products in Korea. The data is analyzed by descriptive statistics. With regard to the demand of necessities of health, an instrument to measure blood sugar is the highest, which is followed by a humidifier, a thermometer, reading glasses, a sphygmomanometer, and a body weight scale orderly. In qualities of necessities of health, the level of convenience to manage is the highest, followed by convenience to use, reliability, and safety in order.
