간호학과 신입생의 자기주도적 학습능력이 학습몰입에 미치는 영향에서 대학 적응의 매개효과

The Mediating Effect of College Adjustment in the Relationship between Self-directed Learning Ability and Learning Flow among First Year Nursing Students

본 연구는 간호학과 신입생을 대상으로 자기주도적 학습능력이 학습몰입에 미치는 영향에서 대학 적응이 두 변수의 인과경로 사이에 놓여 어떤 영향을 주는지 그 매개효과를 규명하는 서술적 조사연구이다. 호남과 충청권에 소재한 5개 간호학과 신입생 237명을 대상으로 질문지를 이용하여 자기주도적 학습능력, 학습몰입, 대학 적응에 대해 자료 수집하였고, 수집된 자료는 기술통계, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson의 상관분석, 3단계 매개회귀분석, Sobel test로 분석하였다. 본 연구결과, 학습몰입은 자기주도적 학습능력(r=.583), 대학 적응(r=.487)과 유의미한 순 상관관계를 보였으며, 자기주도적 학습능력과 대학 적응(r=.419)도 유의미한 순 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다(p>.001). 또한 자기주도적 학습능력이 학습몰입에 미치는 영향에서 대학 적응은 통계적으로 유의한 부분 매개효과가 있는 것으로 규명되었다. 본 연구 결과를 토대로, 간호대학에서 자기주도적 학습능력을 향상시킬 수 있는 체계적 교과과정을 구축하고, 대학 적응 정도를 증진시킬 수 있는 비교과활동들을 개발한다면 궁극적으로 간호학과 신입생의 학습몰입에 긍정적 영향을 줄 수 있을 것이다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating effect of college adjustment in the relationship between self-directed learning ability and learning flow among first year nursing students. This study used a descriptive design, and data were collected from convenient sample of 237 students at 5 nursing colleges. Data were collected through self-evaluation questionnaires survey done from June 3 to 14, 2013. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe test, Pearson s correlation, three-step mediated regression and Sobel test. There was a significantly positive relationship between college adjustment, self-directed learning ability and learning flow. College adjustment showed partial mediating effects between the first year nursing student’s self-directed learning ability and learning flow. For the effective improvement of student’s learning flow, educational program including self-directed learning ability and college adjustment increasing strategies should be established.
