전문계고 학생의 학교생활만족도가 취업 후 현재일자리 만족도에 미치는 영향에서 진로성숙도의 매개효과 검증

The Mediated Effect of Career Maturity on the Relationship between School-life Satisfaction and Present Job Satisfaction for Special High School Graduates

본 연구는 한국고용정보원에서 2013년에 실시한 고졸자취업진로조사(HSGES) 자료를 사용하였다. 응답자 중에서 조사시점 당시에 일자리가 있는 전문계고 졸업자를 분석 대상으로 선별하였다. 추출된 고교생의 재학 중 취업지원과 진로지도가 현재 다니고 있는 일자리에서 본인의 일자리 만족도에 영향을 주는 관계 가운데에서 진로성숙도가 매개효과를 나타내고 있는지를 파악하고자 하였다. 한편, 총 27개의 문항으로 구성된 진로성숙도는 총 5개의 하위 요인으로 구성되는데, 계획성, 자신지식, 진로행동 요인은 Cronbach 알파값이 모두 0.6 이상으로 나타나 모든 문항을 사용하였다. 그러나 독립성과 태도는 Cronbach 알파값이 0.6 이하로 나타나서, 각각 2개 문항씩을 제거한 사용하였다. 진로성숙도의 매개효과 분석을 확인하기 위해 위계적 회귀모형을 적용하였다. 분석결과에 따르면, 진로성숙도 중에서 계획성, 독립성, 자신지식, 진로행동은 매개효과가 있었지만, 태도는 매개효과가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 학교생활만족도가 높을수록 현재 일자리 만족도가 높음을 알 수 있었다. 진로성숙도인 계획성, 독립성, 자신지식, 진로행동 등은 모두 현재 일자리 만족도에 정의 효과를 주는 것으로 파악되었다.

This study aims to verify the mediating effect of career maturity on the relation between satisfaction with career planning program (employment support program, career guidance) of occupational high school and satisfaction with present job. For this purpose, HSGES (high school graduates employment survey) data of KEIS (Korea employment information service) was used and our target sample was occupational high school graduates having their job at the point of the survey. The results of hierarchical regression analysis showed that planning, independence, own knowledge, course action of career maturity had mediating effects, on the one hand, and that attitude of career maturity did not have mediating effects, on the another hand. Furthermore, the results also showed positive influences of school life satisfaction and career maturity (planning, independence, own knowledge, course action) on satisfaction with present job. Implications for career interventions and research are discussed.
