팀 기반 학습이 간호대학생의 비판적 사고능력, 문제해결능력, 의사소통능력에 미치는 효과

Effects of Team-Based Learning Applying for Nursing Students on Critical Thinking Ability, Problem Solving Ability and Communication Ability

본 연구는 팀 기반 학습이 간호 대학생의 비판적 사고능력, 문제해결능력, 의사소통능력에 미치는 영향을 파악함으로써 간호교육에서 보다 효과적인 새로운 교수법을 제시하며, 간호교육과정 개발에 기초자료를 제공하고자 시도되었다. 팀 기반 학습은 간호 대학생의 비판적 사고능력, 문제해결능력, 의사소통능력을 향상시킬 수 있도록 개발되었다. 본 연구의 대상은 경북 소재 4년제 2개 대학 간호학과 재학 중인 2학년 학생 95명으로 실험군은 48명, 대조군은 46명이며, 자료수집은 2014년 3월부터 6월까지 이루어졌다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 21.0 프로그램을 이용하여 평균과 표준편차, t-test, 카이제곱 검정으로 분석하였다. 본 연구 결과, 팀 기반 학습은 간호대학생의 비판적 사고능력(t=3.485, p=.001), 문제해결능력(t=2.054, p=.043), 의사소통능력(t=2.707, p=.008)을 향상시키는데 효과가 있었다. 이상의 결과로 팀 기반 학습은 간호대학생의 비판적 사고능력, 문제해결능력, 의사소통능력 향상에 효과적인 교육 방법으로 확인되었다. 따라서 간호대학생의 이론 교과목에서도 다양한 교수·학습 프로그램 개발이 필요하며 그 효과를 확인하는 연구를 제언한다.

The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of team-based learning program on critical thinking ability, problem-solving ability and communication ability for nursing students. This study design was a nonequivalent control group non-synchronized. The data were collected using questionnaire from the sample of 94 nursing students. The data were collected from March to June, 2014. Data were analyzed using frequencies means, t-test, chi-square test with SPSS 21.0. Scores for critical thinking ability (t=3.485, p=.001), problem-solving ability (t=2.054, p=.043), communication ability (t=2.707, p=.008) showed statistically significant increases after team-based learning program. Based on these results, the study confirmed that the team-based learning was an effective teaching method for critical thinking ability, problem-solving ability, and communication ability. It is necessary to develop teaching program and curriculum for increasing critical thinking ability, problem-solving ability, and communication ability.
