청소년의 사회자본과 행복감의 발달궤적에 관한 연구

A Study on the Trajectory of Social Capital and Happiness for Korean Adolescents

본 연구의 목적은 청소년을 대상으로 사회자본과 행복감이 시간에 따라 어떻게 변화하는지를추정하고, 사회자본의 변화가 행복감의 변화에 미치는 영향을 검증하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는한국콘텐츠진흥원이 실시한 게임이용자 패널조사 1차~4차까지의 자료를 활용하여 다변량 잠재성장분석으로 검증하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 우리나라 청소년의 행복감은 청소년기 시절 동안 시간이 지날수록 감소하는 형태를 보이지만, 통계적으로 유의미하지는 않았다. 다만개인간의 변화 차이는 큰 것으로 나타나 이러한 차이에 영향을 미치는 요인을 검증할 필요가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 청소년의 사회자본은 고정된 것이 아니라 시간이 지날수록 증가하는 것을알 수 있었다. 특히 교류형 사회자본보다는 결속형 사회자본이 더 많이 증가하는 것을 알 수 있었다. 셋째, 청소년의 사회자본은 행복감에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 청소년의 사회자본은 시간이 지날수록 증가하고 이러한 증가는 행복감을 증가시키는 것을 알 수 있었다. 본연구 결과를 통해 청소년기 행복감은 감소하지만, 사회자본의 증가를 통해 행복감은 증가할 수있다는 것을 종단적으로 확인하였으며 우리나라 청소년의 행복감을 증가시키기 위하여 청소년기관계의 증요성을 확장시키는데 대한 함의를 제공하고자 한다.

The purpose of this study is to estimate how social capital and happiness change over time for adolescents and to verify the impact of changes in social capital on changes in happiness. In this study, the first to fourth data of a panel survey of game users conducted by the Korea Creative Content Agency was used to verify multivariate latent growth. The main findings are as follows. First, the happiness of the youth decrease over time during adolescence, but it was not statistically significant. However, the differences between individuals appeared to be large, indicating the need to verify the factors affecting these differences. Second, we could see that social capital for adolescents increases over time, not fixed. In particular, it was found that bonding social capital increased more than bridging social capital. Third, social capital of adolescents has a positive effect on happiness. In other words, social capital for adolescents increases over time and this increase happiness. Through this study, we have finally confirmed that happiness in adolescence can be increased through the increase of social capital, although happiness in adolescence decrease. We intend to provide implications for expanding the importance of youth relationship in order to increase the happiness of Korean youth.
