관문경관 평가 지표에 의한 도시 이미지 특화방안

A Specializing Methods of the City Image by Gateway Landscape Evaluation Index

도시의 관문은 타지방에서 오는 사람들이 가장 먼저 도시를 접하게 되는 지점이므로 도시의 정체성을 나타내는 대표적인 랜드마크라고 할 수 있다. 국가는 물론이고 각 지역별로 관문이라는 특성은 국가 및 지역의 이미지를 좌우하는 매우 중요한 지역의 요소이다. 이는 도시의 첫인상을 결정하고 도시 이미지 형성에 기여할 수 있는 요인이 되므로, 도시의 관문은 지역적 특색에 적합한 부산의 이미지를 나타낼 필요가 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 도시 이미지에 영향을 미치는 주요 요인인 도시의 관문을 대상으로 분석하고자 한다. 설문조사를 통하여 부산의 주요 관문경관에 대한 중요도 및 만족도 분석과 정서적 평가를 실시하였으며, 요인분석 결과 5개의 요인을 다양성, 개방성, 조화성, 복잡성, 친근성으로 추출하였다. 다음으로 다중응답 분석을 통하여 시민들이 인식하고 있는 관문 시설에 대하여 문제점을 도출함으로써 관문 시설에 부산의 정체성(identity), 지역성(regionality)과 풍토성(vernacular)을 나타낼 수 있는 도시 이미지 특화방안을 제시하였다.

The gateway of the city is the first encountering spot for the outside visitors, is therefore the representative landmark that symbolizes the city identity. Country, as well as a gateway to the characteristics of each region is a very important element in the region to influence the image of the country and the region. As the factor that determines city’s first impression and contributes to creating the city image, the city gateway should exhibit the distinct regional characteristic of Busan. For this purpose, this study analyzes the city gateway as a major influencing factor for city image. Through survey, we conducted importance and satisfaction analysis as well as emotional evaluation of Busan’s major gateway landscapes, then conducted factor analysis to derive 5 factors: diversity, openness, harmony, complexity, familiarity. Next, we derived the problems perceived by the citizens about the gateway facilities through multiple response analysis then suggested the way to incorporate Busan’s identity and regionality in the gateway facilities to specialize the city image.
