해양관광지로서 해수욕장 여가행동 특성에 관한 연구

A Study on Characteristics of Beach Leisure Behavior as Marine Tourism: The Case of Pohang Bukbu Beach

연구목적은 해수욕장을 이용하는 방문객의 여가행동에 대하여 분석하고, 이를 토대로 사계절을 이용할 수 있는 해양관광지로 발전하기 위한 전략적 방향성을 모색하고자 하는 연구이다. 조사사례지로 포항 북부해수욕장을 선정하였다. 연구방법은 백사장과 보도에서의 이용행동조사, 설문조사자료에 기초하여 요인분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과로는 첫째, 조사시점이 겨울철임에도 불구하고 사진찍기, 조깅, 씨름, 연날리기, 물장난 등 다양한 이용행동을 관찰할 수 있었다. 둘째, 중요하게 인식하고 있는 여가행동으로 ‘휴식 및 휴양’, ‘해양스포츠’, ‘유람 및 경관관람’, ‘기타 여가활동’의 4개 요인으로 나뉘어졌으며, ‘휴식 및 휴양’ 행동을 가장 중요한 여가행동으로 인식하고 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 셋째, ‘여가활동’ 및 ‘가치평가’와 관련된 제 요인 중 ‘안전성’요인을 제외한 모든 요인이 유의수준 1%내에서 전반적으로 만족도에 높은 영향력을 미치고 있는 것으로 분석되었다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate visitor’s pattern to obtain information on beach planning and four season’s management based on their visit to beach. As the marine tourist population increases in Korea, this study is meaningful to examine marine tourist beach use as a major leisure activity by analysis in the winter season. The major findings are as a following First, Despite a winter visitors to use beach their variety of behavior were observed. Second, Beach’s most important leisure and recreational activities was a relaxation recreation and recreation. Third, Note that all factors, except for the safety of 1% in the overall level of satisfaction in having a high impact were analyzed.
