해양관광개발을 위한 해안지역의 특성 분석

An Analysis of the Coastal Areas Characteristics for the Ocean Tourism Development

최근 해안지역 도시들은 외형적인 관광객의 수치 증대에 주력하면서도 내면적으로는 방문객을 유도할 수 있는 지역의 특성 변화에 대한 중요성에 대해서는 거의 인식하지 않고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 부산ㆍ경남 해안지역 도시들을 대상으로 사회ㆍ경제적 변화와 도시의 특성에 대하여 1996년과 2006년을 비교하여 해양관광개발 방안을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 해안지역의 특성변화를 바탕으로 해양관광의 유형을 분석한 결과 3개로 유형화할 수 있었다. 첫째 경남 마산시, 창원시, 진주시, 부산 해운대구, 사하구의 경우는 기본적인 사회ㆍ경제적 인프라가 구축되어 있고, 연계ㆍ거점기능의 활용이 가능하므로 해양성 레크레이션 형태의 개발이 적합하다고 할 수 있다. 둘째 부산 중구는 일본관광객 및 지역주민의 위한 방문 및 견학, 문화탐방 위주의 레크레이션 형태로 개발하여야 할 것이며, 셋째 부산 동구의 경우는 향후 북항 재개발로 인한 종합적인 해양관련활동으로 개발하는 것이 효율성이 높을 것으로 판단된다.

Recently, the cities nearby the coast emphasize the increase of tourists but they don’t emphasize the variation of the city’s characteristics. The object of this paper is presenting the solution for the ocean tourism development. The research was conducted in the city of Busan and Gyeongnam during 1996 and 2006 and this result will emphasize city’s characteristics for social and economic variation. With the variations of the coast, we could make the result in 3 different ways. First, Masan City, Changwon City, Jinju City in Gyeongnam, Haewundae-Gu, Saha-Gu in Busan are prepared the basic social and economic infra, and they can be combined together so those cities are suitable for the recreational development. Secondly, Jung-Gu in Busan will be developed with recreational way for cultural experience such as field trip and visiting for Japanese people and citizens. Thirdly, Dong-Gu in Busan could be developed as the combined oceanic activities for redevelopment in the future.
