A Study on Service Attributes of On-line College Aptitude Test: Focused on Important Performance Analysis and Path Analysis

IPA(importance-performance analysis)는 관련 속성들의 전략상의 우선순위를 결정하는 근거를 제시해 주는 유용한 방법이나, 속성들의 우선순위 뿐 만 아니라 IPA에 근거한 전략 수행의 효과를 알고자 하는 요구를 해결하지는 못한다. 속성들의 상태와 그에 따른 전략의 수행 결과를 연결해 주는 도구로서 경로분석이 유용함을 보이고자 하였다. 중요도와 실행도의 차이를 속성의 상태로 정의하고 전략 수행을 통한 결과 속성의 중요도와 실행도의 차이를 좁히기 위한 경로분석을 수행하면 IPA 결과와 더불어 보다 구체적인 전략을 수립할 수 있음을 온라인 강의 만족에 관한 사례를 통해 분석하여 보았다. IPA에 의한 높은 우선순위의 속성들과 낮은 우선순위의 속성들 간의 적절한 인과관계를 경로분석을 통해 부차적으로 찾을 수 있었다. IPA와 경로분석을 같이 수행함으로 주어진 속성들의 우선순위 뿐 만 아니라 속성들 간의 적절한 결합을 통한 시너지 효과를 유발하여 온라인 강의의 목표를 극대화하기 위한 전략들의 적절한 조합을 찾을 수 있었다.

IPA(Important-Performance Analysis) is a useful technique to provide with a priority scheme among various options or strategies. In addition to the priority scheme sometimes it is required to measure the effect of this scheme. For this purpose this article shows how to use the results of IPA and path analysis by considering an example. By the combination of IPA and path analysis one can get some idea about not only the order of strategies but also the combination of strategies to get better performance. In our example two attributes ranked the first and the second in priority by IPA are actually not effective on the output attribute though the attributes considered to have low priority have significant effect on the output attribute. By the path analysis it is recommended to find suitable strategic combination of attributes to maximize the output.
