기대된 사용 용이성, 지각된 유용성 및 시스템품질이 개인용 로봇 수용에 미치는 영향

Effect of Expected Ease of Use, Perceived Usefulness and System Quality on the Adoption of Personal Robot

본 연구에서는 유비퀴터스 서비스의 주요 단말로 대두되고 있는 URC(ubiquitous robot companion) 개인용 로봇의 수용과정을 설명하기 위해 기대된 사용 용이성, 지각된 유용성, 시스템품질(지각된 시스템품질-기대된 시스템품질)과 URC 개인용 로봇 이용의도에 대한 관련성을 규명하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 URC 시범서비스 대상자 1000 가구를 대상으로 URC 개인용 로봇에 대한 기대된 신념과 품질 대한 설문을 2006년 9월에 실시하였고, 2007년 4월에 지각된 신념과 품질에 대한 설문 등을 실시하였다. 유효 설문지 498개를 대상으로 가설을 검증한 결과, 지각된 유용성이 URC 개인용 로봇에 대한 이용의도의 강력한 선행요인으로 나타났으나, 기대된 사용 용이성은 이용의도와 관련성이 없는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 기대된 사용 용이성이 지각된 유용성에는 매우 긍정적인 영향을 주었고, 기대된 사용 용이성이 지각된 유용성을 매개로 이용의도에 영향을 주고 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 시스템품질(지각된 시스템품질-기대된 시스템품질)은 URC 개인용 로봇 이용의도에는 영향을 주지 않는 것으로 나타났지만 지각된 유용성에는 강한 영향을 주는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 또한 기대된 사용 용이성은 시스템품질(지각된 시스템품질-기대된 시스템품질)에 부정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다.

This paper examined research factors that determined the adoption of personal robots and how those factors were related to each other. Based on the prior researches, we selected beliefs(usefulness, ease of use), quality factor(system quality), and intention to use, and we conceptualized those factors as expected ease of use, perceived usefulness, system quality(perceived system quality-expected system quality). The findings showed that expected ease of use had a significant and positive influence on perceived usefulness whereas it was not related to system quality. System quality was proven to influence positively and significantly on perceived usefulness. Also, it was shown that perceived usefulness had a strong relationship with intention to use whereas system quality was not related to intention to use. And expected ease of use was proven to give a negative effect on system quality.
