경기지역 일부 치과내원 환자들의 구강보건 인식ㆍ실천에 관한 분석

A Study on Oral Health Awareness and Oral Health Care among Some Dental Clinic Patients in Gyeonggi Province

본 연구는 치과내원환자들을 대상으로, 환자들의 구강보건 인식 및 실천에 대하여 조사하였다. 또한 구강보건 인식과 실천 간의 상관관계에 대해 조사한 결과 아래와 같다. 첫째, 구강관리 필요성, 잇솔질 시기, 치주질환 예방, 구강보건교육에 대해 치과 내원 환자들의 인식을 살펴본 결과 5점 만점 중에 전체 평균이 각각 3.68, 4.10, 3.85, 3.86으로 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 치과 내원 환자들의 정기적 구강검진실천에 대해 살펴본 결과 5점 만점 중 전체 평균이 3.03으로, 치과 내원 환자들은 정기적 구강검진 실천이 그다지 높지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 구강보건 인식은 정기적 구강검진 실천(r=.400, p<.001)과 올바른 잇솔질(r=.421, p<.001), 올바른 세치제 선택(r=.474, p<.001), 구강보건교육(r=.456, p<.001)과 통계적으로 유의한 정적 상관관계를 보였다.

The purpose of this study was to examining of the dental clinic patients on Oral health awareness and Practice of oral health care about analysis. As a result of this study about Relation between Dental Health Realization and Practice as below; 1. As a result of examining the awareness of the dental clinic patients on the necessity of oral health, the right time for toothbrushing, the prevention of periodontal diseases and the education of oral health care the patients investigated got a mean of 3.68, 4.10, 3.85 and 3.86 respectively out of possible five points. 2. In regard to the dental checkup of the dental clinic patients, they got a mean of 3.03 out of possible five points, as shown in Table 8. It implied that the patients didn’t get a dental checkup often enough. 3. Their awareness of oral health had a statistically significantly positive correlation to implementation of dental checkup(r=.400, p<.001), toothbrushing practice(r=.421, p<.001), use of the right dentifrice(r=.474, p<.001)and practice of oral health care(r=.596, p<.001).
