기부지속의사 및 기부기간에 영향을 미치는 요인 연구

The Study of the Determinants of Individual Donation for Rehabilitation Center

본 연구의 목적은 장애인 복지관의 기부자들을 대상으로 기부지속의사와 기부기간에 영향을주는 변수들을 탐색하는 것이었다. 특히 인구사회학적 변수와 기부동기의 효과 이상으로 기관의운영특성과 프로그램의 특성이 기부행위에 영향을 주는가를 탐색하였다. 위계적 다중회귀분석결과, 인구사회학적 변수들은 기부지속의사에는 유의미한 영향을 미치지 못하였으나 기부기간에연령과 학력 수준은 정적 영향을 미쳤다. 이타적 기부동기는 기부지속의사와 기부기간에 정적인영향을 미쳤다. 기부지속의사는 기관운영이 건전할수록, 그리고 기부자에 대하여 직원이 친절하게 대할수록 이타적 기부동기 효과에 부가적으로 증가하였다. 또한 기부금이 장애인의 재활 및교육 프로그램에 사용될 때 기부지속의사는 이타적 기부동기와 운영특성 효과에 부가적으로 증가하였다. 그러나 이들 운영특성과 프로그램 특성은 기부기간에 유의미한 효과를 나타내지 못하였다. 독립변수들이 기부지속의사와 기부기간에 서로 다르게 영향을 미친 것은 두 변수 사이에어떤 매개변인이 존재함을 시사하였다.

The purpose of this study was to find the determinants of individual donor’s donation intention and donation period for community rehabilitation center, focusing the effects of center’s management practices and program contents. Hierarchical multiple regression revealed that demographic variables did not have an effect on donation intention but age and academic career had significant effects on donation period. Altruistic motivation had an effect on both donation intention and donation period. Sound management of the center and kindness of employees had a additive effects on donation effect beyond the effect of altruistic motivation. Rehabilitation program of the center also had an additive effect on donation intention beyond the effect of altruistic motivation and sound management. Sound management and rehabilitation program, however, did not have an effect on donation period. The different effects of independent variables on donation intention and donation period implied that there might be a mediating variable between them.
