국제결혼 이주여성의 배우자지지, 자아존중감과 결혼만족도

Relationships among Spousal Support, Self-Esteem, and Marital Satisfaction of Marriage Immigrant Women

본 연구는 국제결혼 이주여성의 배우자지지, 자아존중감, 결혼만족도의 정도와 제 변수간의 상관관계 및 결혼만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하여, 삶의 질 향상을 위한 중재 마련에 기초자료로 활용하고자 시도되었다. 연구대상은 전라북도에 거주하는 국제결혼 이주여성 242명으로, 일대일 면담을 통한 질문지법으로 자료를 수집하였다. 국제결혼 이주여성의 배우자지지는 득점범위 1-4점 중 평균 2.78점, 자아존중감은 득점범위 1-4점 중 평균 2.50점, 결혼만족도는 득점범위 1-5점 중 평균 2.94점으로 나타났다. 배우자지지는 모국, 종교, 남편 폭행경험, 한국생활만족도, 부부싸움 빈도에 따라 차이를 보였고, 결혼만족도는 부부싸움 빈도에 따라 차이를 보였다. 배우자 지지와 결혼만족도 간에는 통계적으로 유의한 정적 상관관계(r=.226, p<.001)가 나타났고, 자아존중감과 결혼만족도, 배우자지지와 자아존중감 간에는 유의한 상관관계가 나타나지 않았다. 결혼만족도에 대한 배우자지지와 남편 폭행경험의 설명력은 7.9%였다.

This study was performed to understand spousal support, self-esteem, and marital satisfaction of marriage immigrant women and to identify the relationship between these factors and factors related to the marital satisfaction. The subjects were 242 marriage immigrant women of convenience sampling method from an area, Korea. Data were collected through personal interviews using questionnaires. The mean score of spousal support was 2.78 out of 4, self-esteem was 2.50 out of 4, and marital satisfaction was 2.94 out of 5. Spousal support had a significant positive correlation with marital satisfaction and self-esteem didn’t have any correlation with spousal support and marital satisfaction. Marital satisfaction was correlated with spousal support and assault with husband, which were significant predictors(7.9%) of marital satisfaction. Based on above results, we need further study on another sample group and development, application, and verification of education and counseling programs for marriage immigrant women.
