TRE 역량 강화를 위한 비교과프로그램 운영의 사례

2017년 1학기 서원대학교에서는 교양교육 특성화 사업의 일환으로 TRE 센터를 신설하였다. 본 센터에서는 학샐들의 통합적 사고와 의사소통능력 함양을 목표로, 사고(Thinking)·독서(Reading)·표현(Expression) 관련 프로그램을 개발·운영하고 있다. 2019년 TRE 센터에서는 ‘길 위의 인문학’과 ‘독도(讀道)’와 같은 학생 체험활동을 신설하는 등 TRE의 유기적 통합을 확대하고자 노력하고 있다. 이 글은 서원대학교 TRE센터에서 제공하는 사고(Thinking)·독서(Reading)·표현(Expression) 관련 비교과프로그램의 운영 사례 및 성과를 살피는 데 목적이 있다. 가시적이고 구체적인 사례 운영 및 결과를 분석함으로써 향후 TRE센터가 나아갈 방향을 모색할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

In 2017, TRE Center, which is initial of Thinking, Reading, and Expression, was established as part of the specialization of liberal arts education in Seowon University. The Center is developing and operating the programs for Thinking, Reading, and Expression in order to improve students integrated thinking and communication skills. In 2019, the Center is striving to expand the organic integration of TRE by establishing students experience activities such as Humanities on the Road and Dokdo . This article aims to study the operation cases and achievements of the program for Thinking, Reading and Expression provided by TRE Center of Seowon University. By analyzing the results of visible and concrete case studies, it is expected tl1at tl1e center will find the right way to go toward the future.
