이 연구는 부패 유혹의 노출이 많은 경찰관들이 직·간접적으로 경험한 부패로 인하여 강찰의 조직몰입에 미치는 영향을 살펴보기 위한 목적을 가진 연구로서 현직 경찬관을 대상으로 수집된 설문자료를 바탕으로 다중 회귀분석과 위계적 회귀분석을 이용하여 연구를 수행하였다. 경찰부패논 경찰이 가지는 권한을 불법적으로 이용하는 행위로서, 경찰부패가 발생할 경우 경찰 이미지에 심각한 타격은 물론 국민으로부터 신뢰를 잃어 경찰 불복종이 발생할 수 있으며, 주변동료들에게도 악영향을 끼치는 등 심각한 문제로 발생할 가능성이 높다. 이러한 특성을 비탕으로 경찰의 직·간접적인 부패경험이 조직몰입에 미치는 영향을 살펴본 결과, 직접적·간접적 부패경험 모두 조직몰입에 악영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 직접적인 부패경험이 간접적인 부패경험에 비하여 조직몰입에 더 큰 악영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

Based on these backgrounds, it was found that direct and indirect experiences of corruption had an adverse effect on organizational commitment, In addition, direct corruption experience has a greater negative impact on organizational commitment than indirect corruption experience.
