Survey on Satisfaction and Utilization of Social Integration Programs: Focusing on Social Integration Programs

본 연구는 문헌연구를 이론적 토대로 삼아 사회통합프로그램 5단계 ‘한국사회 이해(기본)’과정을 이수하거나 학습 중인 학습자를 대상으로 서술형 설문방법을 병행하여 법무부 사회통합프로그램 5단계 ‘한국사회이해(기본)’과정을 이수하였거나 학습 중인 학습자를 대상으로 서술형 설문문답을 실시한 결과 현재 사회통합프로그램 5단계 ‘한국사회 이해(기본)’과정은 다음과 같은 문제점으로 개선 방향을 제시하고자 한다. 주민들이 사회통합프로그램 5단계 ‘한국사회 이해(기본)’수업을 학습하고 이수 후 제공하는 혜택을 받고 있지만 사회통합프로그램이 한국 정착생활에 도움을 주는 부분은 미비하며 실질적으로 한국생활에 가장 도움이 되는 것은 한국어이며 사회통합프로그램 5단계 ‘한국사회 이해(기본)’수업에서 내용의 문법과 어휘가 학습하기 어려워 이해가 힘들며, 이주민들의 의사소통의 말하기 유창성의 부족과 한국인교사와 공무원들의 인종차별적 인식으로 인해 불편함을 겪고 있다. 또한 사회통합프로그램 5단계 ‘한국사회 이해(기본)’수업을 학습할 수 있는 시간과 장소가 한정되어있으며 교육시간이 부족하여 사회통합프로그램 5단계 ‘한국사회 이해(기본)’수업의 배정된 시간은 50시간이며, 이 시간 동안 50단원을 학습하여야 하는데 시간에 비해 방대한 ‘한국사회 이해(기본)’과정의 학습내용을 학습자들이 이해하고 활용하기에는 어렵다는 문제점이 나타났다.

Recently, immigrants who are staying in Korea have been dominant Because the number of immigrants settling in Korea grows, discussion respecting the diversity of immigrants has gradually been increased. Currently, the score for the issuance of new visas is determined on qualifications of residence, permanent residence, and naturalization. Therefore, the number of immigrants who wanted to participate in the Korean Immigration and Integration Program (KIIP) that could get the additional points has been increasing, when issuing visas. The purpose of this study was to advance Understanding Korean society (basic) , operated by Ministry of Justice, consisted of KIIP 5th Step, which is providing necessary information for residence and settlement in Korea (This study will apply Understanding Korean society (basic) , operated by Ministry of Justice, consisted of KIIP 5th Step as Understanding Korean society (basic) . A result of analyzing the research participants shown that step of fluent Korean actually helps Korean life. However, grammar and vocabulary learning were difficult, so it was difficult to understand the contents of the text. And the ability to use what i have learned in everyday life was insufficient Moreover, life of Korea was hard because of their racist attitude of Koreans.
