중년 남성의 중년 위기감에 영향을 미치는 요인

Factors Affecting Middle-age Crisis in Middle-age Men

본 연구는 중년 남성을 대상으로 자기효능감, 성역할 태도 및 중년 위기감의 정도와 자기효능감과 성역할 태도가 중년의 위기감에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위해 시도되었다. 연구대상자는 40-59세 사이의 전일제 직업에 종사하고, 자녀와 배우자가 있는 중년 남성을 대상으로 하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS Win 18.0을 사용하여 빈도와 백분율로 구하였고, t-검증, 일원분산분석, 사후검증은 Sheffe, 피어슨 상관계수(Pearson’s correlation coefficients), 다중회귀(multiple regression)분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 중년 남성의 일반적 특성에 따른 중년 위기감은 교육(t=9.439, p=.002), 부모와 동거여부(t=9.445, p=.002)가 유의한 차이를 나타냈다. 중년 위기감은 자기효능감과 역상관관계, 성역할 태도와는 순상관관계, 자기효능감은 성역할 태도와 순상관관계를 나타냈다. 중년남성의 중년 위기감에 영향을 미치는 요인은 부모와 동거여부, 자기효능감, 성역할 태도였고, 중년 위기감의 설명력은 46.8%였다. 따라서 중년 남성의 위기감에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 다양한 요인을 확인하여 중년 남성의 위기감을 예방할 수 있는 중재가 요구된다.

This study was done to identify the relationship of self-efficacy, sex-role attitude, middle-age crisis and to identify the factors influencing middle-age crisis for 189 middle-age men who agreed to participate in the study. Data were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients and multiple regression with the SPSS Win 18.0 program. The results of this study, there was significantly difference in middle-age crisis according to education and living with parent. Middle-aged crisis and negative correlation of self-efficacy, sex-role attitude, and positive correlation, sex-role attitude and self-efficacy showed a positive correlation. Middle-age crisis factors affecting living with a parent, self-efficacy, sex-role attitude in middle-age men. Explanatory power of the middle-age crisis was 46.8%. Thus the present study is required to develop and intervention program that prevent middle-age crisis.
