염좌통증에 대한 간호사의 태도, 통증지식, 업무과부담 및 직무만족도가 간호사 소진에 미치는 영향

Influences of Nurses’ Attitudes toward Sprain Pains, Pain Knowledge, Work Overload and Work Satisfaction on Burnout among Nurses

본 연구는 염좌 환자들의 통증 호소를 접하는 간호사들의 염좌 통증에 대한 태도, 통증 지식, 업무과부담 및 직무만족도를 확인하고, 염좌 환자를 간호하는 간호사의 소진에 대한 영향요인을 확인하기 위함이다. 종합병원의 염좌 환자 입원 병동에서 근무하는 간호사를 연구 대상으로 하였으며 205명의 자료를 이용하여 분석하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 21.0 프로그램을 이용하여 독립표본 t-검정, 단변량 분산분석, 피어슨 상관계수 및 단계적 다중회귀분석을 적용하였다. 분석결과 소진은 염좌 통증에 대한 간호사의 태도, 통증지식, 직무만족도, 업무과부담과 유의한 상관관계를 나타내었다. 다중회귀분석 결과 염좌 환자를 간호하는 간호사들의 소진에 염좌 환자 통증에 대한 간호사의 태도가 가장 높은 영향력을 나타내었고(β=.306, p<.001), 간호사의 직위(β=-.281 p<.001)가 그 뒤를 이었다. 이를 통해 염좌 환자를 간호하는 간호사들의 소진에는 일반 간호사들의 소진요인으로 알려진 역할과부담이나 직무만족도보다 통증에 대한 태도가 더 의미있는 변수이며, 간호 대상자의 특성별 간호사들의 소진 연구가 더 활발히 이루어져야 할 필요가 있음을 알 수 있었다.

The purpose of this study was to explore nurses’ attitudes toward sprain pains and to examine how they impact on burnout among clinical nurses. A cross-sectional study was conducted with 205 nurses who have experienced caring for sprain patients. The data were analyzed by SPSS 21.0 for descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Scheff&#233; test and regression analysis. It was reported that the level of the nurses’ attitudes toward the sprain pains was the mean of 20.63 out of the total score 56. Factors influencing nurses’ burnout were nurses’ attitudes (β=.306, p<.001) and position in the ward (β=-.281, <.001) which explained 11.2% of the variance (F=13.861, p<.001). The study results indicate that nurses’ attitudes toward sprain pains should be better understood for interventions to manage nurses’ burnout in caring for sprains.
