J시 복지관 이용 및 방문건강관리사업 대상 재가노인의 삶의 질 연구

A Study of the Quality of Life in the Elderly between Senior Welfare Center and Home Visiting Health Program in J City

본 연구는 복지관 이용 재가노인과 방문건강관리사업 대상 재가노인의 지각된 건강상태, 통증, 수면 및 삶의 질을 비교분석하여 지역사회에 거주하는 재가노인의 삶의 질을 향상시킬 수 있는 간호중재 전략수립을 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 시도되었다. 연구대상자는 J시에 소재한 2곳의 복지관을 이용하고 있는 재가노인과 비이용 보건소 방문건강관리사업 재가노인이었으며, 복지관 이용 재가노인 146명과 방문건강관리사업 대상 재가노인 130명으로 총 276명의 재가노인이 대상이었다. 본 연구 결과 복지관 이용 재가노인이 방문건강관리사업 대상 재가노인에 비해 지각된 건강상태, 통증 그리고 삶의 질이 좋은 것으로 나타났다. 복지관 이용 재가노인은 통증과 삶의 질에서 양의 상관관계, 비이용 방문건강관리사업 재가노인은 지각된 건강상태, 수면이 삶의 질에서 양의 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

The purpose of this study was to comparatively analyze the perceived health status, pain, sleep and life quality of old people in home who were using welfare centers and those who were not using the centers, but were clients of the visiting health management project of the public health clinic, ultimately providing basic information necessary for the establishment of nursing intervention strategies that can improve the life quality of the in-home old population residing in the community. For this purpose, this researcher surveyed 146 old persons in home who were using 2 welfare centers located in J city and 130 such persons who were registered as clients of the visiting health management project of the public health clinic in the same city. Findings of the study can be summarized as follows. The old users of welfare centers were higher in perceived health status and quality of life and lower in pain than the old clients of the visiting health management project of the public health clinic. And the old users of welfare centers showed a positive relationship between pain and the quality of life while, the old clients of the above visiting project showed such relationship between perceived and sleep and the quality of life.
