부모교육프로그램이 다문화 가정 어머니의 양육스트레스와 양육효능감에 미치는 효과

Effects of Parent Education Program on Parenting Stress and Parenting Efficacy for Mothers with Young Children in Multicultural Family

본 연구는 다문화가정 어머니를 위한 부모교육프로그램이 양육스트레스와 양육효능감에 미치는 효과를 분석하기 위한 유사실험연구로 비동등성 대조군 전후설계이다. 자료 수집은 한국인 남편과 결혼하여 3-6세 자녀를 두고 있는 다문화가정 어머니 실험군 23명, 대조군 27명을 대상으로 하였다. 다문화가정 어머니의 자녀양육 어려움과 지원요구를 분석한 후 부모교육프로그램을 개발하여 실험군에게 주 2회, 90분씩 3주 동안 총 6회기를 실시하였다. 자료 분석은 빈도와 백분율, 카이제곱검정(chi-square test), Fisher 정확검정(Fisher’s exact test), t-검정(t-test), 독립이표본 t-검정(independent t-test)으로 분석하였다. 부모교육프로그램 실시 후, 실험군은 대조군에 비해 양육스트레스는 유의하게 감소하였고(t=-7.20, p<.001), 양육효능감은 유의하게 향상되었다(t=8.21, p< .001). 본 연구결과를 통하여 부모교육프로그램이 양육스트레스를 감소시키고 양육효능감을 증진시키는 데 매우 효과적인 프로그램임을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 다문화가정 어머니의 지속적이고 효율적인 자녀양육을 위해 본 프로그램을 자녀의 성장발달에 맞춘 단계별 프로그램으로 개발하여 그 효과를 다양한 변수를 사용하여 평가할 필요가 있다.

This study is a quasi-experimental research designing before and after nonequivalent control group to analyze the effects of parent education program on parenting stress and parenting efficacy for mothers with children 3-6 years in multicultural family. The subjects were 23 in the experimental group and 27 in the control group. The difficulties of parenting and needs for supports are analyzed to develop a parent education program and to conducted twice a week for 3 weeks, each 90 minutes long which was total 6 times, to the experimental group. The collected data were analyzed with t-test, chi-square test, Fisher’s exact test, and independent t-test using the SPSS WIN 18.0 program. Experimental group showed that the parenting program can significantly decrease the parenting stress (t=-7.20, p<.001). Experimental group showed that the parent education program can significantly increase the parenting efficacy (t=8.21, p<.001). From the above study results, it was determined that the parent education program was very effective in decreasing the parenting stress and increasing the parenting efficacy.
