지방공무원의 양성평등의식 현황 및 실태 분석

An Empirical Study on the Status of Local Government Officials’ Gender Equality Consciousness : Focused on Gyeongsangnam-do Officials

본 연구는 지방 공무원들이 인식하는 양성평등의식을 조사하여 그들이 성평등적 관점에서 지역 정책수립 방안의 기초자료 제공을 목적으로 하고 있다. 이를 위해 경상남도 공무원 276명을 대상으로 양성평등의식 현황과 실태를 조사하였다. 수집된 자료 처리를 위해 t-test와 일원분산분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과는 첫째, 지방공무원들의 양성평등의식 수준은 평균 이상의 수준을 나타내었으며, 구체적으로 가정생활영역에서 가장 높게, 사회문화영역에서 가장 낮게 나타났다. 둘째, 여성이 남성보다 양성평등의식이 모든 영역에서 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 배경변인에 따라서는 30대가 가장 높게 나타났으며, 연령과 직급, 근무경력에서 유의미한 차이가 나타났으나 학력과 양성평등교육 참여 유무에 따라서는 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 기존 연구에서도 동일하게 나타나는 결과로 향후 남녀간, 세대 간 인식 차이를 줄일 수 있는 방안 모색과 함께 양성평등교육 유무에 따라 인식의 차이가 없는 점을 감안하여 지금까지 실시하여 온 교육에 대하여 내용과 방법, 대상 등 효과성을 재점검할 필요가 있다.

The purpose of this study is to survey the gender equality consciousness for the civil servant and to analyze. Based on this result, flexible and creative people will be nurtured; the policy in the gender-sensitive perspective will be established in changing the demands of society and of the times. The solutions are researched to raise the awareness. Also the basic materials are offered to help the gender mainstream of policies. The results of this study are as follows. (a) On the result of the gender equality consciousness of the civil servant, their levels are much higher than the general level. The highest level appears in the family life section. (b) Based on the result analyzing the difference of the gender equality consciousness by the gender, women are higher than men in all sections. (c) People in their 30’s and younger are more open minded, whereas the older generation tended to be more conservative. And there is nothing special linked to educational experience.
