간호대학생의 행복감 관련 요인

The Factors Related to Happiness among Nursing Students

본 연구는 간호대학생의 행복감 관련 요인을 파악하여, 간호대학생의 행복감 증진을 위한 중재 방안을 마련하기 위해 시행되었다. 연구 설계는 간호대학생의 행복감 관련 요인을 파악하기 위한 서술적 상관관계 연구이며, 연구 대상자는 일 지역 3개교에 재학 중인 간호대학생 241명으로, 일반적 특성과 낙관성, 감사성향, 사회적 지지, 전공만족도 및 행복감으로 구성된 자가보고 질문지로 자료수집을 하였다. 자료수집기간은 2014년 6월 16일부터 6월 30일까지였으며, 수집된 자료는 IBM SPSS 19.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 나타난 결과는 간호대학생의 행복감 관련 요인은 낙관성, 사회적 지지 및 전공만족도였고, 이 요인들은 행복감을 37.8% 설명하였다. 간호대학생의 행복감과 가장 관련이 높은 요인은 사회적 지지였고, 다음은 낙관성, 전공만족도 순이었다. 즉 간호대학생은 긍정적으로 사회적 지지를 지각할수록 행복감이 높았으며, 낙관성이 높을수록 행복감이 높았으며, 전공만족도가 높을수록 행복감이 높았다. 결론적으로 간호대학생의 행복감 증진을 위해서는 사회적 지지를 높일 수 있는 중재 방안을 개발하고 적용하도록 노력해야 할 것이며, 아울러 낙관성과 전공만족도를 높일 수 있는 전략과 지도가 필요함을 알 수 있다.

The purpose of this study was to identify the factors related to happiness among nursing students. The subjects were consisted of 241 nursing students. Data were collected through self-report questionnaires, which were constructed to include optimism, gratitude disposition, social support, satisfaction with major, and happiness. The data were analyzed by IBM SPSS 19.0 program. The factors related to happiness of the nursing students were optimism, social support, and satisfaction with major, explaining 37.8% of the variance in happiness. The most important predictor of happiness of the nursing students was social support. The findings of this study suggest that happiness of the nursing students is influenced by social support, optimism, and satisfaction with major. Therefore when nursing interventions are developed to improve happiness in nursing students, these factors need to be considered.
