
Analysis on the Needs for Improvement in Management of School Temporary Workers : By Job Classification and Employment Shape

School temporary workers exist in various forms in the domain of education, where publicity is strong. Since the means of employment stabilization and treatment improvement for irregular school employees have been insufficient over a long time, it is an urgent social assignment to thoroughly examine their actual labor environment and achieve improvements in their management. There have been attempts on the side of city and regional education offices for searching new paradigms and renovations of administrative system about their employment stabilization and treatment improvement, but the situation remains in lack of voices from the field. With the awareness of these problems, this study examines the occupational satisfaction of school temporary workers, using 13,201 study object’s cause analysis of low occupational satisfaction, awareness of needs for means of management improvement, and the search for means of improvement. These study results could be utilized as major references for establishing policies. Considering that school temporary workers at city and regional education offices nationwide are also in similar conditions, the improvement means suggested in this study will be able to positively influence the education offices in terms of policy and institution.
