This study is conducted to answer the question that how much the increase in both of tobacco price and anti-smoking policy budgets can reduce the smoking prevalence. We set a smoking prevalence equation including some relevant variables. Including the amount of non-price policies budget as an explanatory variable in our equation makes our study be different from others. And the results show that non-price policies have a significant effect on tobacco control. Also, it demonstrates that price policy is relatively superior policy means to non-price policies, as other relevant foreign studies claimed. This study implies that nonprice policies have an effect. Although the magnitude of non-price policies is lower than that of price policy, it should be continued. That is, anti-smoking policy could be more effective when price and non-price policies are enforced together.
