New Nonparametric Tests for the Location Shift and Scale Parameters

이 연구는 이표본 문제에서 위치이동모수 및 척도모수에 대한 검정을 동시에 수행하는 비모수 검정절차를 제시하는 연구로서 소위 multi-aspect 검정 접근법을 사용하여 검정통계량을 구축한 다음 제시된 통계량에 대하여 대표본 근사이론을 사용하여 근사분포를 도출하였다. 두 종류의 결합함수를 이용한 각각의 검정통계량에 대한 효율을 비교하기 위하여 모의실험을 통하여 재표본의 일종인 순열원리를 사용하여 경험적 검정력을 도출하였다. 마지막으로 제시된 비모수 검정절차에 대한 특징 혹은 기존의 검정절차와의 차이에 관하여 설명하고 또 다른 재표본 방법인 붓스트랩 방법에 관하여 결론으로 토의하였다.

In this paper, we propose nonparametric tests for detecting the location shift and scale difference simultaneously for the two-sample problem. For the construction of test statistics, we use the multi-aspect test approach with some suitable combining functions. Then we derive the limiting distributions for the proposed statistics with the large sample approximation theorem. In order to compare the efficiency for the proposed tests, we consider a simulation study to obtain the empirical powers with the applications of the permutation principle for the several underlying distributions. Finally we briefly comment on some interesting features for the tests and on the resampling method.
