부산광역시 사회조사 표본설계 개선에 관한 연구

A Study on Improvement of Sampling Design for Busan Metropolitan Social Survey

본 연구는 2005년 “인구주택총조사” 조사구를 표본추출틀로 사용하여 추출된 표본을 대상으로 조사된 2009년 “부산의 사회조사”의 결과 분석을 통해, 2010년 “인구주택총조사” 조사구를 표본추출틀로 하는 2012년 “부산의 사회조사” 표본설계에 대비하는데 그 목적이 있다. 2009년 “부산의 사회조사”에서는 구ㆍ군별로 동일하게 1,068가구를 조사대상 가구로 하였으며, 통계청 방식을 준수하여 2005년 “인구주택총조사” 조사구를 표본추출틀로 하여 구ㆍ군내 조사구를 층화코드에 따라 분류하고, 조사구를 일차집락단위, 가구를 이차집락단위로 둔 층화 2단 집락추출법을 표본추출방법으로 사용하였다. 2009년 “부산의 사회조사” 결과 분석을 통해, 예비표본조사구 도입의 필요성, 가구 수 추정 방법, 층화지표 도입의 적절성을 검토하였다. 가구의 월평균 소득 한 문항을 예시로 단순히 표본평균을 한 통계치와 표본설계의 가중치를 반영한 통계치를 비교한 결과, 일부 범주의 추정치와 효율에서 차이가 나타나 표본설계에서 반영된 가중치를 고려해서 통계치를 제시할 필요가 있다.

The purpose of this study is to prepare the new sampling design for 2012 “Busan Social Survey” based on 2010 “Population and Housing Census”. To do so, we analysed the 2009 “Busan Social Survey” which uses enumeration districts based on 2005 “Population and Housing Census” as the sampling fraction. In the 2009 “Busan Social Survey”, 1,068 houses were equally allocated for 16 Guguns which are administrative regions of Busan metropolitan and the sampling method was used as stratified two-stage clustering sampling method where enumeration district and house are the primary and second sampling units, respectively. From the analysis of 2009 “Busan Social Survey”, we explored the necessity of preliminary sampling enumeration districts, the method of estimating total house numbers, and the validity of stratified indices. In estimating the house’s monthly income, the simple sample mean gives the different estimates and efficiencies for those by the method of using sampling design weight. Therefore, it is necessary to suggest the estimates using the design weight produced in the sampling design.
