清輔の著書における能因の位置

Position of Noin among the Authors of the Poems Included in the Poem Book Edited by Kiyosuke - Focussing on the Poems in Shokushikashu

本論文は藤原清輔の私撰集である『続詞花集』に入集した能因詠を分析す ることで、清輔が撰集する際、能因詠をどのような意識のもとで撰んだか、そしてその理由は奈辺にあるかを考察したものである。『続詞花集』には十一首の能因詠があるが、春·冬·哀傷·恋·旅部に各一首、別部と雑部に各三首ずつ入集する。この十一首の能因詠は、大きな主題をなす一つの要素として働いたり、次の主題へ移行するときの橋渡し役を担當したり、部立の全体の基調を決めるなど、集全体において、重要な役割を担わされていることが分かった。清輔はかなり入念に能因詠を吟味し、撰集するにあたって積極的に能因詠を撰んだものと考えられる。その理由としては、歌人としての力量を勅撰集を基準に判断する清輔が、最初は勅撰集になるはずであった『続詞花集』を編纂する際、能因が『後拾遺集』では男性歌人として入集歌数一位であったにも関らず、『金葉集』『詞花集』においてはあまり優遇されていなかったことにあったと思われ、積極的にその詠を撰集に利用したと思われる。

In this article, I analyse the poems by Noin, included in Shokushikashu, edited by Kiyosuke Fujiwara, in order to enquire into how and for what reasons Kiyosuke selected Noin’s poems in his edited book. Shokushikashu includes 11 poems by Noin, with five of them being found in “Spring,” “Winter,” “Sorrow,” “Love,” and “Trip,” respectively and the other six being found in other parts. These 11 poems by Noin play an essential role in the poem book, forming a broad theme, bridging a current topic to the next one, determining a basic topic in the whole volume, and so forth. Kiyosuke examined Noin’s poems very carefully and included them in his edited poem book. What is currently known as Shokushikashu was initially meant to be a poem book edited by the emperor, and Kiyosuke, who pays due attention to the quality of poems in selecting poems, noted that although Noin’s poems were included in Goshuiwakashu more than anyone else’s poems, his works were not included in Kinyoshu and Shikashu, and this seems to the reason why he selected a number of Noin’ poems in Shokushikashu.
