CA 약침을 이용한 수근관 증후군의 치험 1례

A Case Report on Carpal Tunnel Syndrome by CA Pharmacopuncture

Objectives : The purpose on this study is to report the clinical effects of CA Pharmacopuncture for carpal tunnel syndrome. Methods : The patient was treated using CA Pharmacopuncture, and other treatments included acupuncture, moxibustion for 4 times. In addition, the therapeutic effects of carpal tunnel syndrome were measured by verbal rating scale (VRS), disability of the arm, shoulder and hand (DASH), Phalen s sign, and Tinel s sign. Results : After treatment, VRS, DASH and phalen s sign were improved (from 10 to 3 in VRS, 10.83 to 5 in DASH, and from positive to negative in Phalen s sign). Tinel s sign was not changed. Conclusions : These results suggest that CA Pharmacopuncture might be a possible therapeutic options for the patient complaining carpal tunnel syndrome.
