컴퓨터 자격증 취득에 미치는 요인에 관한 연구

A Study on Factor Influencing on Acquiring a Computer Certification: In case of General Computer User and ITQ

대학에서는 학생들의 취업 경쟁력을 높이고, 학생들이 취업 스펙을 쌓을 수 있도록 다양한 특강을 개설하고 있다. Y대학은 현재 실시하고 있는 컴퓨터 특강의 자격증 취득률 향상을 위한 효율적인 운영 방안을 모색하고, 또한 학생들에게 적합한 자격증 특강을 권장하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 본 연구에서는 Y대학 학생을 대상으로 컴퓨터활용능력과 ITQ 자격증 합격여부에 영향을 미치는 요인을 알아보기 위해 로지스틱 회귀분석과 의사결정나무분석을 활용하였다. 로지스틱 회귀분석 결과, 컴퓨터활용능력 자격증에 합격할 확률은 간호ㆍ보건복지 계열이 일반계열 보다 높고, 여학생이 남학생 보다 높게 나타났다. 그리고 강의만족이 높을수록 합격할 확률도 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 의사결정나무분석에서 컴퓨터활용능력 자격증 합격여부를 예측함에 있어서 입력변수의 중요도는 전공계열, 강의만족, 학년, 수업이해의 순으로 나타났다. 따라서 두 분석에서 컴퓨터할용능력 합격여부에 영향을 미치는 공통 요인으로는 전공계열과 강의만족으로 나타났다. 반면, ITQ 자격증 합격여부에 영향을 미치는 요인은 없었다.

Currently, universities in Korea provide special courses with undergraduate students for improving the rate of employment. Data were collected from Y university in Korea, and Y university also requires completion of an specialized academic program for getting computer certificates. The purpose of this study is to identify which factors are strong predictable candidates to obtain GCU (general computer user) and ITQ (information technology qualification) and decision tree and logistic regression model were used for this study. According to the result of logistic regression analysis, it was shown that female showed higher probability to obtain the GCU certificate than male. And it was department of nursing & health welfare showed higher probability to obtain the GCU certificates than department of general. Decision tree analysis was used to examine the interaction effects for the student’ characteristics who passed GCU. The result showed that major, lecture, grade and understanding factors in this order significantly influence on the rate of pass or fail. The common predicting factors to obtain the GCU certificates were major and lecture factors between the logistic regression and the decision tree. However, there was no factor found to influence on the rate of pass or fail for ITQ.
