
Factors Influencing Health Behaviors of the Chinese Students in Korea

This is a descriptive study which was conducted to provide basic data for promotion of desirable life of Chinese students in Korea, as well as health behavior and by analyzing factors influencing their health behavior. Average stay period of the subjects was 22.5 months and their body mass index was normal 60.2%, overweight 16.3%, under-weight 14.3%, obesity 9.2%. Meaningful factors statistically influencing their health behavior (p<0.05) are as follows; regular eating habits were related to command degree of Korean language, constipation or cold sweat among physical symptom; smoking was related to age, relative’s home or living apart from residence, satisfaction degree of staying in Korea; drinking was related to age, sleep disorder, indigestion and command degree of Korean language, and; regular exercise was related to age, loss of appetite, constipation, indigestion, headache among physical symptoms, command degree of Korean language, and living apart.
