한국 청소년의 인터넷 중독 관련요인 분석

Related Factors of Internet Addiction of Korean Adolescence: Using the 5th Korean Youth Health Behavior Survey

본 연구는 청소년 인터넷 중독 현황 및 관련 요인을 파악하기 위함을 목적으로 하였다. 연구대상 및 자료는 2009년 전국중고등학생을 대상으로 실시된 제5차 청소년건강행태온라인 조사결과 수집된 67,653명의 자료로써, 분석을 위해 SAS 9.2 version을 사용하여 빈도와 백분율, 평균과 표준오차, 카이제곱검정, 다중로지스틱회귀 분석을 시행하였다. 연구결과, 인터넷 중독 고위험군과 잠재적 위험군을 포함하는 청소년 인터넷 중독현황은 13.14%로 나타났으며, 인터넷 중독 고위험군, 잠재적위험군, 일반군 간에 개인적 특성, 가정특성 및 환경 특성, 인터넷 사용 특성은 모두 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 유의한 차이를 보이는 요인들이 인터넷 중독에 미치는 영향정도를 파악하기 위해 로지스틱회귀분석을 실시한 결과, 여자, 우울이 없는 경우, 자살의도가 없는 경우가 영향정도가 낮게 나타났으며, 연령의 증가, 높은 스트레스가 더 높은 영향정도를 나타냈다. 실업계학교생인 경우 영향정도가 낮게, 여학교인 경우는 높게 나타났다. 또한 게임과 음란물 검색이 다른 인터넷 사용보다 더 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과 확인된 인터넷 중독에 영향을 미치는 요인들은 청소년의 인터넷 중독 예방을 위한 지침 마련 시 기초자료가 될 수 있을 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to identify the status of teenager internet addiction and related factors. The research materials and subjects were middle school and high school students nationwide in 2009 from the 5th online survey results of youth health behavior. The data from 67,653 students were analysed by using SAS 9.2 version to calculate the frequency, percentage, mean, standard error, chi-square test, multiple logistic regression. As a result, internet addiction status was found to be 13.14%. Also, the internet addiction high risk group, latent risk group, and normal group show statistically significant differences in personal, family, environmental, and internet usage characteristics. And in the results of logistic regression, the group that shows higher level of the impact has the factors of : increasing age, high stress level, internet game and pornography. The results of this study that identified the impact of internet addiction factors could be basic guidance when making materials and instruction for the prevention of teenager internet addiction.
