국가승인 통계를 이용한 인터넷산업 매출액 추정

Estimated Sales of the Internet Industry based on Official Statistics

인터넷산업의 경제적 규모가 최근 들어 급격히 증가하고 있으며 이와 관련된 산업에의 영향도 커지고 있다. 이러한 인터넷산업의 급속한 변화와 발전은 인터넷 산업의 범위와 정의에 대한 질문에 이르게 된다. 이에 한국인터넷진흥원에서는 2009년과 2010년에 인터넷산업분류체계에 대한 연구를 진행하였으며 본 연구에서는 2010년 개발된 한국인터넷진흥원의 신인터넷산업분류에 따라 기존의 국가승인통계량을 활용하여 인터넷산업의 매출액을 추정하는 가공통계를 생산하였다. 인터넷산업 매출액 추정을 위해 이용한 국가승인통계는 한국정보통신진흥협회의 방송통신산업통계연보, 한국전자정보통신산업진흥회의 통계정보, 통계청의 전자상거래동향조사 등을 이용하였다. 일반적으로 통계생산 비용의 대부분은 조사비용에 할애된다. 그러나 ICT관련 국가승인통계를 활용하는 경우 저비용으로 인터넷산업의 매출액 산출을 위한 가공통계의 산출이 가능함을 보여주었다.

The Internet is the most important element in emerging Internet economy, creating new firms and jobs as well as innovating new ways of business and marketing. The spatial economy has been under the control of the new Internet economy and its rapid growth. This study intends to estimate the sales of the Internet industry based on new Internet industry classification. The most of data resources are official statistics from KAIT and KEA. Two main sources are ICT year book of KEA and broadcasting and telecommunication year book of KAIT. The sales of the sub-classification total are estimated by following the survey sampling design. And the estimated total sales of Internet industry was 949,255 hundred million won.
