대학생들의 SNS 중독경향성에 영향을 미치는 요인

Factors Influencing SNS Addiction Tendency among College Students

본 연구는 대학생들의 SNS 중독경향성, 불안, 우울 및 자아존중감을 파악하고 변수들 간의 상관관계 및 SNS 중독경향성에 영향을 미치는 요인을 규명하기 위해 시도하였다. 대상자의 SNS 중독경향성은 성별, 1일 SNS 이용시간, SNS 접속빈도, SNS 이용목적에 따라 유의한 차이를 보였다. SNS 중독경향성은 불안과 우울과는 유의한 정 상관관계를 나타냈고 자아존중감과는 유의한 역 상관관계를 나타냈다. SNS 중독경향성에 영향을 미치는 요인은 불안, 1일 SNS 이용시간, SNS 이용목적, 성별로 나타났으며 SNS 중독경향성에 대한 이들 변수의 설명력은 31.7%였다. 본 연구결과를 토대로, SNS 중독경향성에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 고려하여 대학생들을 대상으로 한 건전한 SNS 이용 건강증진교육 프로그램을 계획하고, 운영해나가야 하겠다.

The purpose of this study was to identify the factors influencing SNS (social networking service) addiction tendency in college students. The participants included 281 college students by a convenience sample method and agreed to participate in the study. Data were collected from May, 1 to May 14, 2012 and analysed using SPSS/PC Win 12.0 program. The major finding were as follows; 1) There were significant positive relationships among SNS addiction tendency, anxiety and depression. And there was significant negative relationship between SNS addiction tendency and self-esteem. 2) Anxiety, time of SNS use, and purpose of SNS use, and gender were significant factors, which explained 31.7% of the variance in SNS addiction tendency. Multiple regression analysis revealed that a power predictor of SNS addiction tendency for college students. Developing nursing intervention to prevent SNS addiction tendency among college students should be recommended.
