글로벌새마을정신 실천 프로그램 운영평가에 관한 연구

A Study on the Evaluation of Global Saemaul Spirit Practice Program

본 연구는 글로벌새마을정신 실천 프로그램 연구학교 운영사례를 소개하고, 글로벌새마을정신 실천 프로그램이 아동의 자기효능감, 공동체의식, 세계시민의식에 미치는 영향을 평가하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 경북에 위치한 초등학교의 3학년부터 6학년까지 아동으로, 실험집단과 통제집단은 각각 3,4학년 40명, 5,6학년 45명으로 구성하였다. 프로그램의 효과를 검증하기 위해서 프로그램 실시 전과 후에 아동에게 자기효능감, 공동체의식, 세계시민의식을 측정하는 설문조사를 실시하였고, SPSS WIN Program 21.0을 활용하여 평균과 표준편차, t-검증, 공변량분석(ANCOVA)으로 통계처리하였다. 교사와 학부모에게는 면담과 평가회를 실시하였다. 연구를 통해 근면·자조·협동·나눔·봉사·창조의 글로벌새마을정신 실천이 아동의 자기효능감과 같은 개인역량 강화에 효과가 있었으며, 아동의 공동체의식 및 세계시민의식 함양에 효과가 있음을 확인하였다. 글로벌새마을정신 실천 프로그램 연구학교 운영사례는 지역의 특색있는 창의적 체험활동 학습자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이며, 관련 인성교육 프로그램 및 지도방법 개발에 기여하여 지역의 교육력을 향상시킬 수 있을 것이다.

This study was to introduce the pilot operational example of the global Saemaul spirit practice program and to evaluate the effects on children s self-efficacy, sense of community and global citizenship. The subjects of this study were children from third grade to sixth grade of elementary school located in Gyeongsangbuk-do province. They were divided into the two groups: the experimental and control groups. Each group had 40 children of third to fourth grade and 45 of fifth to sixth grade. In order to clarify the effects, pre- and post-tests for this study were conducted using the scale of self-efficacy, sense of community and global citizenship for the children. The collected data from pre- and post- tests was analyzed mean, standard deviation, t-test and ANCOVA using SPSS 21.0 WIN program. In addition, interviews and evaluations were conducted to the teachers and parents whose children were performed in the study. As a result, this study confirmed that the global Saemaul spirit(diligence, self-help, cooperation, sharing, service and creativity) practice program had significant effects on children s individual empowerment such as a self-efficacy, children s sense of community and global citizenship. This example will be able to be used as a special learning material of regional creative activities and to contribute the development of related programs for education of humanism and teaching methods. It, also, will be able to enhance regional education power.
