Purpose : This study is a descriptive research study to identify the effect of ego-resilience and social support on parenting stress in working women. Methods : The research subjects were 183 working women and data collection period was from July 1 to 30, 2019 in A city. Using the SPSS 24.0 program, collected data were analyzed by means of SPSS 24.0 program, and general traits t-test and ANOVA, post examination, Sheffe’s test, grade point average, standard deviation, Pearson’s correlation, and stepwise multiple regression. Results : The result showed that ego-resilience and social support were positive correlation (r=.42, p<.001); ego-resilience and parenting stress were negative correlation (r=-.52, p<.001); social support and parenting stress were negative correlation (r=-.46, p<.001). The significant variables affecting parenting stress were age, working hours, working stress, ego-resilience, and social support with 52.8% overall explanatory power. Conclusion : Based on this study, it is necessary to develop parenting stress care programs that can improve the ability of working women to cope with parenting stress.
