어머니와 유아의 마주이야기 공책에 대한 의미탐색

Investigating the Meanings of Mother and Child’s Vis-a-Vis Conversation

본 연구는 어머니와 유아의 마주이야기 공책에 나타나는 내용에 대해 유아가 하는 이야기의 맥락을 분석하고 어떤 의미를 지니고 있는지에 대해 알아보는데 연구목적이 있다. 이를 위해 경기도 J초등학교 병설유치원 만 5세 유아 18명(남 11명, 여 7명)과 그 어머니가 연구대상이 되었다. 연구자료수집 방법은 마주이야기 공책, 관찰, 교사와의 면담, 유아 결과물 등의 자료를 수집하고 질적 분석하였다. 기간은 2013년 4월 1일부터 2013년 12월 2일까지(방학제외) 6개월 동안 이루어졌다. 연구결과, 어머니와 유아들의 마주이야기는 ‘가정과 유치원의 교육활동에 대한 연계성’, ‘자연에 대한 강한 흥미’, ‘무한한 꿈과 상상력’, ‘가족과 친구를 배려하는 마음’, ‘체험활동을 통한 새로운 경험’의 의미로 나타났다. 연구를 통해 어머니와 유아 마주이야기는 유아교육 현장의 다양한 정보를 얻고 유아들이 유치원 현장에서 어떠한 사고와 행동을 하는지 알 수 있었다. 따라서, 어머니와 유아 마주이야기는 다양한 통합교육 활동과 가정과의 연계 교육을 위한 효과적인 교육 방법임을 시사하고 있다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the meaning of child s story from the context of mother and child s vis-a vis conversation note. For this research, 18 5-year-old children(11 males, 7 females) from Gyeonggi-do J public kindergarten and their mother became research subjects. The study period lasted for 6 months from April 1, 2013 to December 2, 2013(excluding vacation). As for the data collection method, vis-a-vis conversation notes, observations, interviews with teachers, and infant portfolios were collected and qualitatively analyzed. As a result, the meanings of the mother and child vis-a-vis conversation appeared to be connectivity to educational activities of family and kindergarten , strong interest in nature , infinite dreams and imagination , caring for family and friends , new experiences through activities. Through the study, the mother and child vis-a-vis conversation was able to obtain such information in the field of early childhood education and to find out different types of thinking and behavior of young children. Therefore, the mother and child vis-a-vis conversation suggests that it is an effective education method for integrated education and the connection of kindergarten and home education.
