텍스트 마이닝을 활용한 한국어 교육에서의 MALL 연구 담론 분석

A Discourse Analysis of Mobile Assisted Language Learning (MALL) Research Regarding Korean Language Education Utilizing Text mining

본 연구의 목적은 한국어 교육에서 MALL 연구가 어떠한 성과를 이루었으며, 좀 더 연구가 필요한 지점은 어디인지 등을 체계적으로 분석하여 살펴보는 데 있다. 이를 위해 한국어 교육학 분야에서 발표된 MALL 연구 95편을 수집하고 텍스트 마이닝 기법으로 연구 담론을 분석하였다. 분석 결과 총 3개의 연구 담론이 도출되었으며, 이 연구 담론에 속한 핵심어의 공통된 속성을 바탕으로 ‘MALL 변인’, ‘MALL 도구 개발’, ‘MALL 적용’ 담론으로 명명하였다. 그리고 각각의 연구 담론에 대한 상세한 분석을 바탕으로 향후 연구가 필요한 지점에 대해 자세히 논의하였다.

The purpose of this study was to identify what mobile-assisted language learning (MALL) research has achieved in the field of Korean language education, to identify which areas need further research, and to propose directions for future studies. To achieve this, 95 MALL studies published in the field of Korean language education were gathered, and the text mining technique was used to analyze research discourses. The analysis revealed a total of three research discourses, and these were named “MALL variable,” “MALL tool development,” and “MALL application,” based on the common characteristics of keywords found in each discourse. This study then examined in detail which areas would need further research based on the in-depth analysis of each research discourse.
