The objectives of this study are to analyze the realities of present tourism, to prospect the aspects of future tourism, and to explore normative references and reformative strategies toward which Korean tourism policy has to be oriented to compete against the tourism of other countries and to serve substantially tourism development in future times. This study establishes systematically the alternative ideologies, reference criterions and goal system of tourism policy. And this study advocates synthetically the detailed strategies on the five tourism subsystems (tourism action system, tourism transportation system, tourism attraction system, tourism business system and tourism administration system) indispensable for the competition power of Korean tourism in 2015.
