Improvement Strategies on the Behaviors of Local Public Servants in Personnel Job Design Dimension

The objectives of this study are to (1) analyze the perception level for organizational behaviors of public servants in Ulsan Metropolitan City, and (2) explore the desirable behavioral strategies for organizational productivity and specialization in personnel job design dimension based on the analyzed result. For the sake of attain this goals, this study makes use of questionnaire method to its public servants lower than fourth rank as an survey object and analyzes the data by analysis of variance(ANOVA) test for the difference analysis among groups as well as mean analysis. This study especially emphasizes the behavioral improvement strategies for the specialization of job, the delegation of authority, the alleviation of job stress, the feedback of job consequences, the endowment of incentive and the minimization of fear for job failure.
