타슈켄트의 신코리아타운 <시온고> 고려인마을과 한국문화

New Korea Town <Siongo> Koryeoin Village in Tashkent and Korean Culture

우즈베크 타슈켄트 주 상 치르치크 구역의 <시온고> 마을이 타슈켄트의 신코리아타운 으로 발전할 수 있는 가능성을 제기하고자 한 것이 이 글의 목적이다. 마을 중앙로의 “아름다운 소나무길”이 한민족의 감성을 자극할 수 있으며, 고려인과 한국사회의 만남의 장으로 기능하고 있는 시온고노인회관과 2010년 3월 26일 개원한 아리랑요양원이 우즈베크인과 고려인과 타슈켄트 거주 한국인, 그리고 한국사회가 같이 만나 고려인/한국문화를 공유, 확산시킬 수 있는 공간으로 자리매김할 수 있기 때문이다. 이를 위해 제2장에서 <시온고> 고려인 콜호즈의 어제와 오늘을 간단히 살펴보았으며, 제3장에서는 현지 고려인인 박 마야 연구자가 조사해온 <시온고> 고려인마을의 음식과 음식문화를 소개했다. 우즈베크 고려인사회의 대표문화로 고려음식이 한국음식과 함께 자리 잡을 수 있다고 보았기 때문이다. 다음에 제4장에서는 한국인 기업가가 지원하고 있는 시온고노인회관과 한국 국제보건의료재단이 운영하는 아리랑요양원을 방문한 한국인 단체들이 전개해온 다양한 한국문화 활동을 살폈다. 아울러 향후 이러한 한국인의 활동이 원활하게 이루어질 수 있도록 시온고 마을의 역사와 문화를 드러낼 수 있는 전자문화지도의 제작과 문화자원에 대한 스토리텔링, 그리고 마을의 고려인 가정을 민박집으로 운영할 수 있음을 제안했다.

The purpose of this paper is to suggest that the Siongo village located in Chirchiq, Tashkent, Uzbekistan could become a new Korea town in the future. To be more specific, the beautiful pine road in the middle of the village could appeal to Korean people. Moreover, the village has the Siongo Hall for the Elderly where the Koryeoins (people of Koryeo) and the Korean community meet each other and the Arirang Nursing Home which was officially opened on March 26, 2010. These facilities are highly likely to gather the Uzbek, the Koryeoins, the Korean people living in Tashkent and the Korean community together so that they can share and spread the Koryeoins and Korean people s culture. In this context, chapter two briefly explains the history of Siongo Koryeoins kolkhozes and chapter three elaborates on the Koryeoin village s food culture on which the local Koryeoin Park Maya has conducted research; the Koryeoins food, along with Korean food, could probably become part of the Uzbek Koryeoins culture. Chapter four describes the Korean cultural activities initiated by various Korean organizations which have visited the Siongo Hall for the Elderly supported by a Korean entrepreneur and the Arirang Nursing Home run by the Korea Foundation for International Healthcare (KOFIH). Furthermore, this paper also suggests other ways to make such activities more efficient. For instance, an electronic culture map explaining the Siongo village s history and culture could be made and stories about the village s cultural resources could also be told. In addition, the Koryeoins houses could also accommodate visitors.
