학위논문의 메타분석을 통한 문화콘텐츠 연구 동향

Research Trends for Cultural Contents through the Meta Analysis in a Thesis for a Degree

본 연구는 신생학문인 문화콘텐츠 분야에 대한 연구경향을 파악하기 위하여 초창기 문화콘텐츠학과를 개설한 국내 5개 대학의 학위논문을 대상으로 메타 분석을 실시하였다. 이 연구에서는 문화콘텐츠 분야 중에서 가장 많이 연구하는 분야(장르), 연구목적과 방법, 학문적 배경, 교과과정의 연관성 등을 연구 문제로 설정하였다. 분석 결과, 문화콘텐츠 분야의 연구는 산업분야의 범위가 광범위하기 때문에 다양한 장르에 걸쳐서 진행되고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 문화콘텐츠의 연구 목적은 개발소스 제공이나 연구결과 활용에 초점을 맞춘 실용적 목적이 대부분이며, 연구방법은 질적, 양적방법을 혼합한 방법을 채택하고 있는 것으로 분석됐다. 학문적 배경은 인문학을 중심으로 사회과학 등 인접학문사이 학제간 융합이 나타났으며, 교과과정은 인문학 기반의 콘텐츠의 개발과 기획에 대한 연구의 비중이 높아 균형 있는 커리큘럼 반영이 요구된다. 따라서 문화콘텐츠가 분과학문으로 자리 잡기 위해서는 새로운 방법론의 개발이 필요하고, 교과과정도 실용적인 수요를 반영하는 조정이 필요하다고 본다.

This thesis is related with the Meta analysis for the same degree thesis of local 5 colleges in which the Studies of Cultural Contents being established in initial era to figure out a research trends in newly emerging Cultural contents division. The researching targets of this thesis are the most frequently studied in Cultural contents, those are, the categories, the object and method of research, the educational surrounding, the relationship among every categories in study. In the last analysis, the study for the Cultural contents has been come in sight that it has been executed through a various kind of categories cause of large scales of extent in the industrial divisions. In addition, the object of research in Cultural contents has been connected mainly with a practical purpose focalizing on providing development source and utilizing a researching result as well, also the researching method has adapted the mixed one in quality and quantity. The educational surrounding has been based on mainly Cultural science in which the interdisciplinary has been harmonized such as with Social science etc. and the relationship of research categories has been required for reflection of the equivalent curriculum due to the great of weight in research for the developing and planning of contents basing in Cultural science. Accordingly, if this Cultural contents were to be in a position of divided science, a new methodical development and an adjustment reflecting of practical needs in educational curriculum.
