요양보호사의 치매문제행동 요양부담감이 노인에 대한 태도와 돌봄이행에 미치는 영향

The Influences of Caregiver’s Care Burden for Dementia Problematic Behaviors on the Attitude toward the Elderly and Care Fulfillment

본 연구는 요양보호사의 치매문제행동 요양부담감이 노인에 대한 태도와 돌봄이행에 미치는 영향을 살펴보는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 경상남도의 G시와 T시에 소재한 요양시설 및 재가노인복지시설에 근무 중인 요양보호사 274명을 대상으로 자료를 수집하였다. 연구결과에 의하면, 첫째, 요양보호사의 치매문제행동 요양부담감은 노인에 대한 태도와 돌봄이행 간에 유의한 부적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 요양보호사의 치매문제행동 요양부담감과 하위요인인 간호에 저항과 정신증상은 노인에 대한 태도에 부적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 요양보호사의 치매문제행동 요양부담감과 하위요인인 신경증상이 돌봄이행에 부적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 본 연구의 제한점과 후속연구를 위한 제언을 하였다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the influences of caregivers care burden for dementia problematic behaviors on the attitude toward the elderly and care fulfillment. To that end, 274 caregivers working at nursing homes and in-home care facilities for the elderly in G and T cities in Gyeongsangnam-do were surveyed to acquire the relevant data. The results are as follows: First, caregivers care burden for dementia problematic behaviors has negative correlation with attitude toward the elderly and care fulfillment. Second, caregivers care burden for dementia problematic behaviors and resistive to care and psychotic features, which are sub-factors, have negative effects on the attitude toward the elderly. Third, caregivers care burden for dementia problematic behaviors and neurotic features, which are sub-factors, have negative effects on care fulfillment. Therefore, limitations of this study and suggestions for follow-up studies were made.
