아동권리에 대한 어머니의 인식이 언어통제유형에 미치는 영향

Influence of the Mother’s Awareness of Children’s Rightson the Types of Language Control

본 연구의 목적은 만 5세 자녀를 둔 어머니를 대상으로 아동권리에 대한 인식 수준이 언어통제유형에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 데 있다. 연구대상은 경기도에 위치한 유아교육기관 6곳에 재원하고 있는 만 5세 자녀를 둔 어머니 194명이다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 어머니의 아동권리에 대한 인식과 명령적 언어통제유형 간에 통계적으로 유의한 음의 상관관계가 있었으며, 보호권에 대한 인식은 지위적 언어통제유형 간의 관계에서도 유의한 음의 상관관계가 나타났다. 둘째, 어머니의 보호권에 대한 인식은 명령적 언어통제유형과 지위적 언어통제유형에 유의한 음의 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 어머니의 아동권리 중 특히 보호권에 대한 인식은 어머니의 언어통제유형과 밀접한 관계가 있음이 확인되었다. 이는 어머니의 아동권리에 대한 인식 특히 차별하지 않고 유아의 심리적·신체적 보호를 위한 아동권리교육 및 홍보활동 활성화의 중요성을 시사한다.

This study was undertaken to investigate the influence of the levels of awareness of child rights on the types of language control in mothers with 5 years old children.. The subject of the study was 194 mothers with 5 years old children who are in six early childhood education institutions located in Gyeonggi-do. The obtained experimental results are as follows. First, there was a statistically significant negative correlation between the mother s awareness of children s rights and the imperative language control types, and the recognition of protection rights also had a significant negative correlation with the relationship between the status language control types. Second, it was found that the mother s perception of protection rights showed a significant negative influence on the imperative language control type and the status language control type. In conclusion, it was confirmed in the present study that especially, mother s perception of protection rights among children s rights was closely related to mother s language control type. These findings suggests the importance of vitalizing education for improving mothers awareness of child rights. especially about children s rights and public relations activities for the psychological and physical protection of infants without discrimination.
